SUSTAINABLE SOURCING
Impossible to grow, Cade must be harvested from the wild. We work with local foresters, employed by the French government.
The foresters cut and gather the Juniperus Oxycedrus tree, the tree of Cade’s origin, during clearing activities. This is done to maintain and preserve safe and clear paths for hikers.
As well as to reduce the risk of fire, which in turn creates an opportunity for the cultivation of other vegetation, olive trees, and vines.
